The Rules & How to Enter

You can use any medium ~and~ any tool in your creative toolbox (or inventory bag) to create your creation(s). It’s called “anything-goes” for a reason! Your submission(s) must:

1. Directly reference AQWorlds and/or AQW: Infinity
2. Showcase your creative talent; no commissions
3. Be posted on social platforms like FB, X, YT, etc 
4. Include:

• Your AQW character name
• Title of your work
• Short description that describes your workflow, the IRL story behind your creation(s), and/or the totally made-up in-game lore revolving around your masterpiece!     
• Use the hashtags:
  #AQW #Infinity #Kickstarter

5. For every major social platform you post on, a +1 point will be added to your score. Example: if you post your entry on Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, you will get +5 points added to your final score!

6. After uploading to social(s), link us on AQW’s Anything-Goes Contest Form so it doesn’t get lost in the THOUSANDS of other entires

• artistic expression
• AQW / Infinity theme (obviously)
• and the creative use of tools that are available to you.

Bring your A-game. And your AE-game. Both are valid ~and~ required to win.

Remember: post your entry on all 5 major platforms (FB, X, IG, YT, and TkTk) to earn +5 bonus points added to the judges’ scores.

Think your drawing or writing can’t be on YouTube or TikTok? Think again! Record a time-lapse, upload a voice over, use TikTok’s Photo Mode to tell your story, or get creative with the presentation. Your art is just the beginning… and how you showcase it can totally boost your score!

A note on creativity

This contest celebrates imagination and creativity in all its forms.

Your submission MUST reflect meaningful creative input and transformation. We’re here to spotlight creators, storytellers, editors, artists, composers, meme lords, blacksmiths, chaos gremlins, dreamers, dragons, and legitimately everyone in-between.

The real life scoop on how “free to play games” make money 

Ever since Artix Entertainment was founded in 2002, we have embraced the Free to Play Games model. Artix always dreamed of making fun games that everyone could enjoy, and all our games are free to download and free to play.

But… how does a video game company make enough money to support their team of dedicated programmers, artists, writers, game designers, and coffee-deliverers, while at the same time paying for bandwidth, advertising, traffic, web domains, and ninjas?

The answer: Artix has to rely on YOU.

Memberships and Microcurrency bundles (in AQW’s case, Legend upgrades and AdventureCoins, respectively) are how Artix Entertainment stays afloat. Some players might think we’re just money-grubbing individuals, spending their hard-earned cash on expensive cars, fancy dinners, and lavish parties...

Watch Sponsor Videos and Earn Free ACs

Want to get some free AC's each day?  A few seconds after you log into the game, a new green button may appear that looks like this:

The button will be located next to the Game Size selector. If you click the button a pop-up window will appear showing a sponsor video.

You can get between 1 and 25 free AC's by watching each video!  These new sponsor videos are available world-wide, but not always available for every country every day.

Currently, your new free AC's will not show up inside the game until you log back into the game. 

We recommend watching one video each day, and after a few days you can earn enough free AC's to buy something!  Sometimes you can watch the same video more than once!

Special In-Game Offers

Limited-Time Offers and Items Popping Up!

Earlier this year, we introduced special pop-up offers which show to players with eligibile characters. We've been getting a lot of questions from you guys about why you're seeing them, so let's break down what's happening, why, and what it means for you!

What Is This Thing I'm Seeing?

These offers are for a limited-time and only appear if they are available to your character. Some offers will only be available if you've upgraded your account in the past, or if you've been upgraded for a certain amount of time. Some offers may have items attached to membership packages, or some may only offer exclusive item sets.

We are working on a way for you to disable these offers in your options menu, but each of them IS only available for a limited-time, so if you do not like them, they will eventually stop appearing. We have set them so they do not appear every time you log in until that functionality is working.

Absolutely not. These screens were made by us for you! Never give away your username, password, or email address to anyone else, and you won't have to worry about being hacked. Protect your account!

Aqworlds and other Artix Entertainment team members will NEVER ask you for that information, because we do not need it to help you!
