Become a Celestial Naval Commander

Available every year from September 1st - 30th

Yarrrr! This year, the winds of September bring pirates, ghosts, and enough loot and booty to fill your backpack to overflowing! Our September Seasonal Set, the Celestial Naval Commander, arrives Sunday, September 1st, 2019. Unlock the full set and character page badge when you buy the full pack, or talk to Garek in Battleon to get individual set pieces.

September Set: Celestial Naval Commander

Remember to keep your wings tightly furled when on deck to avoid getting tangled in the lines. But if the ship starts to sink, you'll be GLAD to have them as you fly to safety!

There are two ways to get the gear:

1) Total package: Buy the entire set directly through the website for $9.99 USD

2) Individually: Buy each of the individual pieces from Garek the Traveling Gear Merchant in Battleon.

The total cost to buy all of the gear individually is 4,000 ACs, so getting all the gear from the Celestial Naval Commander pack is a pretty sweet deal (you save 2,000 ACs).

The set includes:

Celestial Naval Commander armor
2 helms
2 capes: 1 set of wings, 1 parrot cape
5 cutlasses
1 Parrot Pet

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as the monthly upgrade bonus?

No, this is a different set. Just like the Flame Dragon Warrior, you can buy the entire set for one price on our site. You can ALSO buy the individual pieces in-game.

This set will return EVERY September, so if you can't get it now, you'll have another chance in 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.

Think of this like a carousel of gear. Every January, we'll have the January set. Every February, we'll feature the February set. The monthly upgrade bonuses will be separate and distinct bonuses.

If this isn't the monthly upgrade bonus, what IS the bonus in September?

The next upgrade bonus releases on September 6th, and will be the Galactic + Solar Pirate Commanders.

What if I just want ONE of the items?

You're in luck! Talk to Garek in Battleon. He'll be selling the individual pieces of each month's sets.

Where do I get my gear if I buy the full set through the website?

After the ShadowLord Malgor’s defeat in Arcangrove, he is eager to find a new connection to the ley lines of Lore - and it looks like he’s set his sights on the nexus in Yokai. Is this the same as an upgrade bonus?

Upgrade bonus gear is an extra reward for buying AdventureCoin or Membership packages; new bonus gear comes out roughly every month. Seasonal set packs are bought separately. Just like the Flame Dragon Warrior pack, you can buy the entire set directly, for one price, on our site. You can ALSO buy the individual pieces in-game.

Please do not send non-release bugs on Twitter. They will get lost. Make sure you send bug report forms!

Check back weekly to see if the bug you reported has been addressed. Please remember that not all bugs are "easy fixes" so some reported and confirmed bugs from each week may not be on the fixed list as they will require more time or a different person to fix them.

Legion SoulSeeker Pet hitbox has been reduced some. It has to be large because of the floating motion the sword makes.
Bido’s Birthday Hat 2019 eyes were not supposed to be CC. Now they aren't.
Skull Helm of Cerberus repositioned.
Lustrous Bow & Lustrous Bow and Arrow has a new and improved grip.
Happy Crab Conga has been convinced to come out of the shell.
Twisted EldritchSlayer's Locks has art has been fixed.
Flameborn Summoner Badge has been convinced to stop taking over the entire screen.
Blade of Awe enhancements all now require rank 5 Blade of Awe rep.

Battle Concert Event Updates

Battle through the in-game concert event with your friends

This weekend, log into AQWorlds and find a new event menu in the Concert Arena, as well as other updates to help you battle alongside your friends. See all of the in-game musical event details on the event page at Artix.com!

Our original plan for the event was to exactly mirror the battle concert in AQ3D... but based on your feedback and suggestions, we've updated the current event map. Future events will also be more heavily story-focused, as requested!

Changes to the event area include:

Event menu to help you navigate through all of the song selections
Songs split into individual maps to help you find your friends more easily
Visible quest window to help you track progress

New Set in the Event VIP Merge Shop: Freak on a Leash

Now available with any Battle Concert Event VIP package through our website: the Freak On A Leash armor, helm, hands daggers, and hands cape. Find the set in your VIP Merge Shop in /kornpass and /concertVIP

New reward sets in the Event Merge Shop

To help you rock out as you battle through the event, we've added five new armor sets to the Event Merge shop! The Awards Show armors will outfit you nicely when it comes time to /gear up and accept your award for "Best Performance in an Online Concert Event" and the Rockin' Hoodie and Hard Rocker armors and helms will help you /SLAY!

Battle Concert Series Class Skills Breakdown

Get ready to ROCK the battlefield!

To celebrate our new musical event, the class team has been hard at work on new classes: Heavy Metal Necro and Nu Metal Necro. The Nu Metal Necro class is a version that’s easier to both obtain and use, and ideal for lower level players. The color-customizable Heavy Metal Necro Class will be released as part of our VIP Event Collection package; both that class and its identical farmable variant, the Dark Metal Necro, are built for more experienced players and featurea momentum-based playstyle that keeps the risk high and the damage higher!

The variants of these classes will go rare after this event ends, but their skills, icons, and animations will return during future musical events.

Our Moglin KickStarter Release Builder Story!

Nibbleon, the Greenguard hometown of your favorite moglin friends, has come under attack by an army of… ROBOTS?! Nugget and Zilla, Nibbleon’s two top hunters, have been fighting them back but moglins just keep disappearing. Someone -- or something -- is moglin-napping them, and they need your help to find their friends, save them, and take out whatever dark entity is responsible!

Building the Moglin KickStarter Release: The Story!

This story was crafted during the week-long visit of our AdventureQuest Moglins “Story Designer” backer, Doom Regin Doom, who visited the lab earlier this year. We want to sincerely thank him for making the area possible. He was extremely focused and excited to make a fun and interesting moglin-related story for everyone to enjoy.

After he had an armor made for his NPC, Doom Regin Doom asked the team to release a variant as the reward set this weekend. He was very specific about the farming quest details: no dailies, no 1% drops needed. Just farming and fun!

We had a blast when he and his parents visited the lab for a week to meet and work with us. He is a great guy, and if you see him in game, be sure to say hi and toss him some thanks for not-so-cuddle moglin creation!

Platinum Item of Donated Awesomeness

We've gotten a lot of really positive feedback after introducing the free spins... but also a lot of you who wanted 1) a way to make sure you got an Item of Donated Awesomeness and 2) kept spinning in a quest to get the Epic Item of Donated Awesomeness to drop from the Wheel... and then not didn't get it.

That's why we introduced the Platinum Item of Donated Awesomeness. This item is available from the Doom Merge Shop, so even if you don't receive the EIoDA as a bonus prize, you can save up your Treasure Potions and get the PIoDA.

Important Points

The PIoDA will be a Wheel of Doom merge shop exclusive.
Cost: 1,000 Treasure Potions.
You can get both the EIoDA (from the Wheel) and the PIoDA (from the merge shop)
The PIoDA currently stacks up to x5. We are currently planning to raise the cap later this year.

At a cost of 1,000 Treasure Potions, that means a member who ONLY uses their one free spin per day/week will need to log in every day for about 2.5 years to get it... but they WILL get it eventually.

Return to the BattleCon Arena

This Friday, log in and battle before the concert begins

Ten years ago (way way back in 2009), AQWorlds had its first-ever live in-game concert with special musical guest, Aurelio Voltaire. Fast forward to 2019 and we're preparing to celebrate that anniversary AND the grand-opening of the Battleon Arena in AdventureQuest 3D with another special musical guest and an INSANE, massively-monstrous mosh pit event. The event begins later this month, but for several weeks, both the AQ3D and AQWorlds teams have been in overdrive preparing for the big day. And now, we need YOUR help! This weekend, log in and /join arenaline to gear up and help Bryce Platinum (the concert promoter) get ready.

Talk to Bryce Platinum, the concert promoter, to begin quests for all new concert outfits and weapons! Save up the Arena Coins he'll give you, too -- you'll use them (along with other event merge items) in Johnny Trax' merge shop to create the Heavy Metal Necro class!

Battle Shimazu the Defiler

Empress Miko needs your help on Yokai Isle!

The people of Yokai lost so much in the war against the Queen of Monsters. It’s all so fresh for them; they still mourn their dead. But - supreme disrespect! - an unruly onryō named Shimazu the Defiler has been awakened by ShadowLord Malgor. In his death, he's focused his anger on those who killed him: Empress Miko and her people. He stalks their graveyard with his minions, attacking anyone who enters to mourn their dead. Empress Miko has been unable to honor her fallen father ever since; defeat Shimazu and bring peace the the people of Akiba!

This weekend, log in and /join shimazu, then talk to Empress Miko to begin your quest to help the people of Akiba!
