Benevolent Token Redemption Updates

Updated Benevolent Token Item Redemption List

If you backed the AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity Kickstarter at the Benevolent Founder tier, your rewards included 5 Benevolent IoDA Tokens and a Golden IoDA Token. We put out a call for suggestions to help us create the final list of items available to unlock with the Benevolent Tokens. Those additions and an automated Benevolent Token Exchange system went live last week in the Account Manager.

Items of Digital Awesomeness vs Benevolent Tokens

Any IoDA Token can be redeemed through your Account Manager and exchanged for a select list of rare, hard-to-get items, or other popular items. Benevolent IoDA Tokens can be exchanged for a number of items that are not available with the existing IoDA Token list.

• Any item available from the regular IoDA redemption pool: PLUS
• Items that are not available with a regular IoDA (example: HeroMart exclusive and select endgame items)

• All items currently available from the Open Treasure Chests! Quest now have Epic Rarity.
• Items in the Pie-rate Shop changed to Hidden Secret.

• Danger's Edge (Old item which never released. It has also been added to the Wheel of Doom merge shop.)

Guest Band Event Items Now Available for IoDA

• Individual rare items from band event collections + merge shops
• Returning Concert Merge and VIP Event Merge shop items

Items featuring the logos or other IP of the bands/guests are still excluded for contractual reasons. They retain the Super Mega Ultra Rare Rarity.

Automated Benevolent Token Exchange System

Because the list of items which could be redeemd for Benevolent Tokens was not complete. Player Support had been manually reverting Token Choices, but this wasn't something we could continue to do manually. Captain Rhubarb added a way for Benevolent backers to manually revert their Benevolent Token choice through the Account Manager. 

1. Log in to your Account Manager and go to the Awesome Items tab.

2. Eligible items redeemed with a Benevolent Token will show a Remove this Item button.

Important Notes

• The "Remove this Item" button is only available for those exchanged with a Benevolent Token.
• You can exchange each Benevolent Token one time only. (That means you have a total of 5 exchanges total per account.)
• If an item cannot be undone, the "Remove this Item" button will not appear
• Player Support cannot offer manual reversals of regular IoDA prizes. Limited reversals are available for Benevolent Tokens only, and can only be done in your Account Manager page.
