Fanart Spotlight: Celebrating Our Community’s Creativity!
Made With Love by Heroes Like You
What’s one of the best parts of working at Artix Entertainment? Getting to see the incredible, mind-blowing talent that thrives in our community! Whether you’ve been with us for years, or you just joined the adventure, your creativity never ceases to amaze us. And today, we want to shine a bright spotlight on a few artists who’ve shared their passion, imagination, and epic art with the community!
From heartfelt tributes to legendary NPCs (including me, tehehee!), these fan creations are a glorious reminder of how deeply connected our players are to the world of Lore. Every piece is more than just a drawing… it’s a love letter to the game, the stories, and the community we've all helped build together!
So sit back, get comfy, and prepare to be totally floored by some jaw-droppingly awesome fanart from your fellow heroes!
✨ HellPrince (aka Luiz IRL)
Olá from Brazil with love… and a whole lot of style! Luiz, known as HellPrince in-game, brings us a dramatic homage to Dage the Evil, drawing inspiration from Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. Wow, like, WOW. This powerful piece merges classical art with Dage’s darker, iconic aesthetic for a result that’s both bold and beautifully symbolic.
“I started playing AQW in 2013 and this is my first participation in a Fanart Spotlight. I hope players like my art style—it's just for fun but made with love.”
Luiz, your passion shows in every detail. We're honored to feature your work, and we can’t wait to see the finished rendition of The Creation of Adam Dage!
🖌️ Tetradraws
Bold, beautiful, and battle-ready, Tetradraws brings us digital paintings that are bursting anime influences and fantasy flair. From the striking red and pink palette (best color scheme ever!) to glossy armor-like outfits, these character designs feel straight out of a dream JRPG!
With sharp linework, dramatic shading, and designs that scream “heroines with attitude,” Tetradraws’ artwork is fierce, flawless, and fabulous! Ntm, these poses add so much poise while giving that polished, professional finish we all aspire to achieve in the real world, too :p
🐉 Nix170
Nix170 (possibly your Discord friend, possibly your next favorite artist) takes us on an emotional trip down memory lane with a sketch of Galanoth that blends raw storytelling and gritty intensity. Inspired by their early days in AQW—when they were just 8 years old, battling Vasalkar with more heart than gear!—this artwork reimagines Galanoth in his early training days, locked in a fierce battle for survival.
“This is a battle to the death until sunrise, against a vicious wyvern terrorizing an innocent village,” says Nix170, but calmly assures that “No moglins were harmed in the making of this sketch!”
From the tension in the pose to the story behind it, this piece is packed with soul—and a slightly charred moglin plushie. This sketch is a nostalgic tribute to every player who grew up fighting for Lore!
We Love You All!
I ~know~ I say this a lot, but I mean it with my whole heart: you—yes, YOU—and our entire community are the reasons why AQWorlds is so special. Your art, your stories, your passion… it breathes life into this game every single day in so many ways. And we love you all so much for that!
To the amazing artists featured here: thank you for sharing your work with us. And to every single one of you who’s ever sketched your favorite NPC, painted a scene from your favorite saga, or just doodled your character in the margins of your school notebooks, know that you’re part of what makes this world feel like home!
We’re beyond lucky to fight alongside you in-game, and even luckier to witness the creativity you share IRL. Keep creating. Keep sharing. And keep being the awesome, inspiring, ridiculously talented heroes that you are.
Battle on,
Beleen, HellPrince, Tetradraws, Nix170, and your AQWorlds family

- Want to share your artist profile?Feel free to include a link to your Twitter, DeviantArt, ArtStation, etc—just make sure it follows the Rules of Artist Engagement
Rules of Artistic Engagement
This goes without saying, but imma say it anyway ~and~ in bold:
your artwork must be created by YOU, and your artwork must be SFW (Safe for Work)!
If you wouldn’t show it to your sweet old grandma, young cousin, or innocent little Twig, it does NOT belong in the Fanart Spotlight. Just like how every Artix game is family-friendly (unless you’re part of the Akriloth bloodline…), we expect family-friendly fanartthat everyone (excluding dragons) can enjoy!
What Kind of Fanart is Accepted?
We accept all kinds of fanart, so long as it’s SFW and Artix-related! This includes:
🎨 Digital & Traditional Art: drawings, paintings, pixel art, sketches, and more!
🗿 Sculptures & Crafts: clay models, wood carvings, 3D printed thingies, plushies, cosplay props, and handmade items.
💥 Comics & Animations: short comics, animated GIFs, or full animations inspired by your favorite Artix game(s).
👕 Fashion & Cosplay: costumes, armor sets, custom T-shirts, and any wearable creations.
🎂 Edible Art: cakes, cookies, and other themed treats (oh yes, we've seen some amazing Artix cakes & cookies before)!
✨Others: did I leave out your preferred artistic medium? Show us anyway!
If you’ve got a creative, visual tribute to ~any~ Artix game or collection of games, it’s totally welcomed in the Fanart Spotlight!
Heed the Call of Creativity

Calling All Artists!
Interested in creating art for Artix Entertainment?
We are always looking to build connections with talented 2D and 3D artists, modelers, and animators for work on our current and future projects. All art created for Artix Entertainment games and websites is done under contract.
If you are interested in creating art for AdventureQuest Worlds or any other Artix Entertainment games, please send in a resume and link to your portfolio. If there are opportunities to work together on current or future projects, we'll be in touch directly.
The post below is more than ten years old, and contains outdated information regarding art position details.
Legacy Post
Do You Have What It Take To Do Art For AQW?
Think you've got the skills and talent to do art and animation for AQW?
Here's your chance!
AQW is losing two of its greatest artists, Mennace and Aegis. Both are leaving for different reasons but both are leaving on good terms, we're sad to see them go and we hope that the fates allow them to return someday.
Meanwhile, this leaves AQW a little shorthanded in the art and animation department and we are looking for a few great AQW fans to become volunteer assistant developers, and hopefully, if things work out in the future, full time staff members of AE.
So we want to see what YOU can do!
Here is what we are looking for:
- Experienced animators.
- Experienced/Talented/Skilled Background / Environment Artists.
- Artists who can mimic the AQW style.
- Artists who have experience with Adobe Flash.
We will be looking at your AQW account history to make sure that you have a clean record. We are looking for artists who are mature, responsible, excited about contributing to AQW, willing to take criticism and make changes accordingly. We would like a few people to help with art for monsters, armors, and items but We are ESPECIALLY looking for animators and someone who can match J6's background / environment.
Here is what you need to do:
- 1. Send an e-mail to [email address no longer active]
If your e-mails subject line says anything except AQW ARTIST APPLICATION then the filters will automatically delete it. Reading comprehension is good. - Include your real name, age (16 minimum), and country of residence.
- Include your AQW Game account name and email address
- Include your Master Account name and email address tied to the master account.
- Include your Forum account name and email address if you have a forum account.
- Include all Languages you speak/read.
- Include a Resume (C.V. ) *please note we'd like the resume in English.
- Include links to your online art portfolio or attach examples of your art. (please note that we're not stupid and if you just pull art off of Google, you will be laughed at then ignored.)
- Link or attach your animation reel if you have one.
We are posting this on the Design Notes first because we ALWAYS want to get people from our community before looking outside the AE family, but if you happen to know someone who does not play, fits the criteria and would like some experience in the gaming industry feel free to let them know.
You must be at least 16 years old to be considered for this (these) position(s). If the application is not complete, we will toss it out. And please - one application per person. We will read all the applications and consider all of them. If you are chosen to go through a further interview, we will contact you by e-mail. Unfortunately, we cannot reply to everyone. If you do not hear from us, sorry.
Please note that this is an unpaid, volunteer position but does come with in-game mod status, free AE game memberships, AdventureCoins, the chance to test game content as we develop it before release and invaluable experience with a honest-to-pie gaming company which will look good on ANY future resumes.
Thanks, good luck and Battle On!
