NOT A MOD Class Rework
No, you still can't be a Mod* ;_;
It's been almost 11 years since NOT A MOD first released and a lot has changed since then. We've all leveled up IRL, some of us have started families (or gotten battle cats), and who knows, maybe one of us has even gone to space *eyes the robot* ... But despite everything that's changed, there's one thing that's remained constant, and that is non-stop requests from people asking to become a mod.
You're just a normal gamer like most of us reading this post. However, what you can be is NOT A MOD, a ridiculous, yet deceptively powerful class that won't give you any special mod powers, but can allow you to unleash that inner gamer spirit within.
How to Obtain the Class
The only way to obtain the NOT A MOD class is by purchasing the NOT A MOD T-Shirt from Heromart.com, and then entering the code that it comes with into your portal account.
Design Details
This class was dumb before, but it's even dumber now. It's basically a Dodge based button mashing class with a side of gamer. If you cringe it all while reading this, then mission accomplished.
Description: Recommended enhancement: Thief, Lucky. You're not a mod, you don't have any special powers, you're just an average gamer. Sure, maybe you did a speedrun of 13 Lords of Chaos, or did a million damage one time, but it takes more than that to be an AQW Moderator.
Stat Model: Dodge Melee
Mana Regen: You're just a normal gamer, what good would mana do you?
Skill Breakdown
Auto Attack
Rank needed: 1
Target: Enemy
Max Targets: 1
Type: 100% Physical
Range: Melee
Cooldown: 2 seconds
You already know how this one works.
Insert text here.
Button Mash
Rank needed: 1
Target: Enemy
Max Targets: 1
Type: 250% Physical
Range: Melee
Mana Cost: 10
Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
Don't think about what this skill does, just use it because it comes off cooldown really fast. Deals stacking bonus damage and increases your Dodge by 10% if the last skill used was this one, up to 15 times. Using another skill removes the Dodge and damage bonus. Can't crit.
If you're Caffeinated, this skill can crit and it builds your Combo count, increasing your Crit Damage by 20% for 3 seconds, stacks to 15.
Spam this button to do more damage and your Dodge will increase. Press any skill other than this one, and you'll lose your damage and Dodge, but did you even read the skill description?
Reasonable Attack
Rank needed: 2
Target: Enemy
Max Target: 1
Type: 120% Physical
Range: Melee
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 4 seconds
This is a completely average hit which does perfectly normal damage…
What do you mean this is just another Auto Attack? You want this skill to actually do something? Ok fine, if you want a way for this class to recover mana that bad, then this skill now FULLY recovers your mana, ARE YOU HAPPY?
I ran out of ideas so this was just an auto attack, but then I remembered that there was no way for the class to recover mana so here we are.
Gamer Fuel
Rank needed: 3
Target: Self
Max Targets: 1
Type: 100% Physical
Range: Melee
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Eat a handful of chips, healing you and applying Fueled, increasing your Hit Chance and Haste Chance by 20% for 20 seconds.
If you have 3 stacks of Gamer Rage, you also chug an Energy Drink. Applies Caffeinated, causing all skills to crit, reducing mana costs by 100%, healing you over time, and increasing your Haste, Hit Chance, and Dodge by 100% for 15 seconds. Drinking your Energy Drink quells your rage.
Chips and energy drinks, the snacks of a champion like yourself.
Keyboard Smash
Rank needed: 5
Target: Enemy
Max Targets: 1
Type: 350 Physical
Range: Infinite
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Furious that your button mashing is getting you nowhere, you throw your keyboard at your target in a fit of rage, dealing increased damage based on how much you Button Mashed and stunning them for 3 seconds.
Smashing your keyboard generates a stack of Gamer Rage. Removes any active Combo count you have. Can't miss.
We all have those rage inducing moments at games, by why break a physical keyboard when you could break this digital one instead? Plus, if you break enough of these, you'll let loose your rage and your full power will be unleashed, so there's nothing to lose!
Passives
Fight Response
Rank needed: 4
Type: Passive
Attack first, do the tutorial later. Outgoing damage increased by 10%.
Flight Reponse
Rank needed: 4
Type: Passive
You grow wings and can fly. Lol just kidding, all you get is 10% more Haste.
Big Orange Numbers
Rank needed: 10
Type: Passive
We know you like em, Crit Damage increased by 50%.
Conclusion
So yeah, this is a pretty silly class as you can tell, but with potential to deal some damage in addition to having a high Dodge chance. Button Mash a few times, throw your keyboard a few times, consume an energy drink, Button Mash a few more times, then throw your keyboard once again (you have a lot of spare keyboards, don't question it). Remember, NOT A MOD can only be obtained by purchasing the NOT A MOD T-Shirt, so be sure to check it out on Heromart.
