New Class Balance Updates
Class Updates, Potion Updates, and More
The AQWorlds Balance team has been hard at work reviewing your feedback and the in-game performance our live classes. Just released: another round of class balance updates in addition to potion updates to help you get the most out of every battle!
Potion updates
- Revitalize, Renew, Potent Revitalize, and Potent Renew Elixirs now heal a flat base 175 health per tick
- Potent Honor and Potent Malice potion cooldown reduced to 60 seconds, mana cost debuff changed to 25%
Boss Updates
In lieu of updating one of the most meta bossing classes, several bosses have been adjusted in compensation.- Champion Drakath’s flight dodge bonus reduced to 60%
- Champion Drakath’s boss shield threshold increased to 75000, scaling factor softened to 0.8
- Ultra Avatar Tyndarius and Ultra Fire Orb damage reduced 20%
Miscellaneous Updates
- Passive Health and Mana recovery outside of combat has been increased
- Health and Mana recovery during resting has been increased
Archpaladin
A long time meta bosser and monster debuffer. Adjusted to play more effectively, actively, and involved. Now stacks its main suppression far faster, but has reduced limits. Heal made more consistent, DPS drastically increased, and several other quality of life changes received as well.Because this class was such an effective bosser, some Insignia bosses have been designed with it as a standard, meaning that other classes would have been unusable in its role. With its limits controlled a little more strictly, bosses can be designed in a way that more classes are viable.
- Commandment auras reworked. Now, they apply -10% dodge and defense and -5% damage dealt, crit chance, and hit chance per stack, up to 6 stacks, lasts 10 seconds, handled between the Commandment, Divine, and Eminent auras
- Commandment no longer applies DoT (this was very small and had no practical uses)
- Hymn of Light targets increased to 7, heal reduced, but always crits
- Hymn of Light aura duration increased to 15 seconds
- Righteous Seal changed to 1 target, cooldown changed to 25 seconds, mana cost reduced to 20, and now stuns undead for 3 seconds.
- Righteous Seal aura effect changed to -90% damage dealt and lasts 7 seconds
- Sacred Magic: Eden base damage drastically increased and no longer scales off DoT, cooldown reduced to 25 seconds, mana cost reduced to 40. Now, does double damage when Righteous Seal is present and consumes it. Additionally, no longer applies Exhaustion, consumes Commandment/Divine, or stuns undead.
- Sacred Magic: Eden now applies Broken Seal when it consumes Righteous Seal, reducing enemy damage dealt by 15%, stacks to 2, lasts 25 seconds.Overwhelming Light has been renamed to Blessed by Light, and now gives +100% END and +10% hit chance
- Righteous Judgment now additionally increases haste by 15%
- Descriptions updated
Chaos Shaper
This class received a full revamp and visual makeover! Now classes as a respectable late-game soloing class and DPS class, with some interesting mechanics and very involved play that lead it into endgame relevance.Stat model: Luck HybridClass Description: Chaos Shapers possess an influence over the metaphysical axis by which the world revolves. By tilting it in their favor, they create entropy.
Mana Regen: Chaos Shapers reform mana from the air around them during strikes, recovering 8 mana with each Chaotic Touch, and recovering all their mana when they Realign.
Chaotic Touch: Enshroud yourself in chaos and strike the foe.

Type: Physical / Autoattack
Range: Medium
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 2
Evocation: Skew the axis of the present space, shattering the balance and evoking the power of either Chaos or Unity, generating Entropy. The axis tilts in your favor, granting you 12% increased magical and physical damage each time you generate Entropy, up to 8 times, and lasting 8 seconds.

Cooldown: 3
Extrication: Manipulate the surrounding energies into your favor, and cripple your opponents. If you’re empowered by Chaos, consume it and create Disarray in your opponent, decreasing their damage dealt, Dodge, and Crit Chance by 20%. If you’re empowered by Unity, consume it and inflict Paresis upon your foe, increasing the damage they take by 20%. Both effects stack to 3 and last 20 seconds.

Cooldown: 3
Synthesis: Weave the present energies into powers in your favor, and greatly increase your combat capabilities. If you’re empowered by Chaos, consume it and gain Consonance, increasing your damage dealt by 20%. If you’re empowered by Unity, Coadunate your form, healing you over time. Both effects stack to 3, and last 20 seconds.

Mana Cost: 10
Cooldown: 3
Realignment: Forcefully realign the axis of the present space, dealing more damage the more Entropy is present, and consuming it. The realignment rids you and your opponent of your Disarray, Paresis, Coadunation, and Consonance. The space sways in your favor, increasing your Crit Chance by 20% and Crit Damage by 100% for 23 seconds. Always crits and cannot be avoided.

Chaotic Strength: 35% Physical Resistance
Chaotic Focus: 50% Critical Damage
Empower: The universe watches you carefully. +10% luck.
