Doomhaven

Swordhaven falls under attack by the DoomKnight, Sepulchure, and his army of skeletons. Victory seems bleak for those defending the city, but there is still a chance to fight against the relentless force by working your way up to the castle.

Artix's Quests

Undead Assault: 10 Slain Skeletal Soldiers from Skeletal Soldier.

Skull Crusher Mountain: 8 Frozen Boneheads from Skeletal Ice Mage.

Robina's Quests

Talk to the Knights: 5 Convince the Knights (Go around the castle and find the fallen knights. They are still alive, thankfully.)

Defend the Throne Room: 12 Skeletons Slain from Skeletal Warrior or Skeletal Viking

When you enter the Throne Room, you, once again, are a witness of the battle against King Alteon and Sepulchure. You may not be a match for Sepulchure, but you are ready to tell them that Drakath is coming. Gravelyn knows too, but she cannot do anything. Only you can alert them.

You try to warn the great warriors. Unfortunately, they see you as confused, crazy, and deluded. They all think Drakath died a long time ago.

Still convinced Drakath will come, you stand your ground against………………………..nothing. Kind of proves how crazy you are.

Now the warriors lost patience and they resumed the fight, but things quickly took a turn for the worst when Alteon sacrificed himself to save you from getting killed. The cost is that Evil won this day. This is no ordinary victory.

By slaying King Alteon, Sepulchure now has the power to open the Plane of Darkness and take over the world.

Countless DoomKnights and Overlords crowd around and secure their victory. Everything is doomed, or so we think? Luckily, for us, the portal to the plane was not open because King Alteon is not the Champion of Light. Frustrated that he is unable to tell anyone apart from the real champion, Sepulchure decides it’s time to call for drastic measures. To carry out that measure, he will have to slay a second figure.

Does that answer your question, Death? If there is no death, those that have died in battle return to our world as brain-eating zombies, starting a global apocalypse to make finding the Champion of Light a lot easier. Quickly, you escape the Throne Room before Sepulchure can turn you into a zombie. You jump off a window and landed in the middle of a war camp. There, Rolith informs you that have to hold the zombies back before the apocalypse can spread throughout the world. Now you have to fight every zombie in a room to move on to the next to contain them. To collect weaponry and other icky zombie items, collect their body parts and trophies to trade them in the shops next to the full war meter.

But the zombies weren’t giving up. They were too numerous and strong. When you return to the camp, two knights hand you a note from Artix. The note says to meet him in BattleZom. It’s actually Battleon, but the typo fits the apocalypse. Now you just have to find Rolith and the two of you can bring survivors there where they can be safe. Protecting the survivors should be your number one priority if the zombies are too strong to face.

Whoops, you’re on your own. Defeat Rolith immediately and then go to Battleon for further instructions.

Since the war is already at 100% click "War Boss" to summon Zombie Rolith.

Are you not sure where to go next? Click on the button, “War Camp,” that is located to your right.

Doom War

/join doomwar to begin

Click "Lair" to begin. Since the war is already at 100% you don't have to worry about areas unlocking. Just defeat the enemies in the room and hit the "Lair" button again (or Mythsong, Arcangrove, etc).  The room will reload and the next area button will be clickable.  Fight your way from "Lair" to "???".

All across the world, heroes and allies try to fight off the zombie invasion. If you thought Swordhaven was bad, wait until you see the other places. Artix tells you the first location you should go to is the Vasalkar Lair because undead dragons would make matters much worse. Normally, Galanoth would slay dragons, but the situation is so desperate he’ll have to help defend the Lair. You have to head over there fast to convince him before a single zombie reaches the lair.

The minute you get to the Lair, you realize you are too late. Galanoth and the dragons have fallen victims to the green fog. Fight them off to gain gold and experience, but all efforts are futile. You will have to retreat from the Lair.

With no luck in the lair, Artix tells you that Warlic is preparing an incantation that will buy the survivors time to escape the zombie invasion and be safe, however, he needs backup while he prepares to cast it. Find him in Mythsong and don’t leave him vulnerable.

Uh, oh. Warlic has become the second known victim of the zombie apocalypse and his powers could give this brainless army has terrible advantage against us. Now you have to buy the survivors time before Warlic gets to them.

Could it be? A cure for those who are zombified? How is that even possible? Alina and Cysero have the perfect solution and it requires a potion to be made in Arcangrove. Finally, the zombie invasion will be over once this potion is perfected. All you have to do is protect the alchemists before anything goes awry.

So much for a cure and a spark of hope. We will just have to make do, but Alina and Cysero could be used as weapons against those who still fight if they aren’t hindered.

What are we going to do now? The zombies are approaching Battleon rapidly and we can do little about it. They are too numerous and every time one is destroyed, another simply takes its place. Zhoom is crafty with his bow and arrow and can attack targets from long distances. He is in Willow Creek at the moment, waiting for you to team up with him. Artix has faith that with you and Zhoom together, the zombies won’t be able to reach Battleon.

It turns out Battleon is the only safe place to go. Because it is the last town that is untouched by the zombie apocalypse, we must do everything in our power to protect the remaining survivors. If we give up, Battleon will be lost forever.

On the bright side, Artix and Twilly are still standing and they’re willing to fight with you to the last stand.

Despite all those people undead and oozing their way toward the Inn, Sepulchure still could not find the Champion of Light wherever he or she may be. Opening up the portal to the Plane of Darkness doesn’t seem too bad now or so we think? Artix tells us that creatures of darkness will consume everything and will stop at nothing until the universe is nothing, but absolute shadow just like the realm itself. Unfortunately, nobody knows who the Champion of Light is except for you and you have to find it before Sepulchure figures out the identity.

Oh, snap. He’s here and Gravelyn is missing. Too bad he put two and two together. The fact that Gravelyn is the Champion of Light troubles Sepulchure for it reminds him of his beloved, but the Necrotic Blade of Doom couldn’t care less. And so, Sepulchure gives in to slay what is left of his family.

And that’s why Gravelyn made up her mind to join you. She always wondered why she was different. Why she couldn’t cast a shadow-based spell and fit in. Why her father never loved her. She has lived a lie her whole life and the only way to face her past is confront the approaching army. Night falls shortly after your reunion and the army has completely ransacked Battleon, however, must be dealt with as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Sepulchure and Gravelyn meet face-to-face in a duel to the death.

Artix's Quests
Keep the Area Clear: 5 Zombies Slain from Angry Zombie
Defeat Zombie Dragons: 3 Zombie Dragons Defeated from Zombie Dragon
Defeat Your Fallen Friends: 4 Fallen Friends Defeated from Cyzerombie, Zombie Alina, Zombie Galanoth, Zombie Warlic, or Zhoombie.
Long Unlive the King!: 1 Fallen King Defeated from Zombie King Alteon

The duel between father and daughter has come to a huge climax. Sepulchure and the Necrotic Blade of Doom have Gravelyn right where they want her and she will die swiftly. The sad part is there was nothing you can do about it, but watch the impending fatal strike.

Gravelyn slightly recovers, but is too powerless to stop the readying strike. The Necrotic Blade of Doom is just as anxious as everyone else for the duel to end and for Sepulchure to be victorious. Its restlessness is proof of its reaction to the suspense.

Little did we know there is a subtle hint of mercy deep inside Sepulchure’s soul and he decides to spare his daughter, much to the frustration of his blade. True love is putting someone else before your own needs.

Love shines the brightest in the dark. In this case, more literally because the sun has set and much of the world is zombified……..and chaotic? Is it a draconian in the distance?

Nope, it’s Drakath, who watched this charade long enough and is ready to slay Gravelyn, however, before Gravelyn could brace herself in deadly combat, Sepulchure sacrifices himself, Drakath crushes his heart, and history is, therefore, repeated.

This sad scene is much more dramatic than the scene at the beginning of the game. How come? Not only is Gravelyn actually grieving and holding her father, but she is so grief-stricken and hurt that the Champion of Light within has sprung forth.

It’s time to die, murderer!!!! But as if Sepulchure’s second death was heart-pumping and frantic enough, how about Sepulchure’s body being reanimated by the Necrotic Blade of Doom and his armor turning black?!

With the blade in complete control of the body, there’s no stopping it from slaying Gravelyn and opening the portal unless you’re strong enough to stop it first.

Artix's Quests

Dark Sepulchure Must be Slain!: 1 Defeat Dark Sepulchure from Dark Sepulchure

Whoops, you forgot to bring your Destiny weapon. Unless you have any, this battle will last for eternity. Meanwhile, this may be the case for Gravelyn and Drakath too. Neither one of them have overpowered the other, but their equal power won’t stop Gravelyn from getting revenge. Vengeance is, of course, ironic for a Champion of Light, however, now may not be a good time.

Gravelyn is the only fighter with a Destiny weapon and you might die at the hands of Sepulchure’s remains. She could get her revenge and save us, but there’s only time to do both (that is, if you’re not a chronomancer.). Why is time short? Dark Sepulchure is charging up a powerful attack that will kill us all, but before the Doomblade could power up, it burns up and purifies into a bright, gold, color. Could it be? Gravelyn is here to rescue us.

As soon as you and Artix are saved, we are teleported back to the necrocavern as if these events never happened. What Gravelyn learned was that your place of birth, race, or family does not determine what you are. It is the choices and actions that define who you are. This is a perfect lesson for individualism. But despite Gravelyn only wielding an element that counters darkness, she is still the rogue Empress of the Shadowscythe and nothing will ever change that. Her determination to rule and destroy Drakath has caused Dage, Nulgath, Sally, and Noxus to swear loyalty to her. To begin her revitalized conquest, Gravelyn orders Sally to rebuild Vordred and make him stronger than ever, which Sally gladly complies to. Back in Drakath’s realm, a strange and ominous voice warns Drakath that you, Artix, and Gravelyn will remember the events that transpired and overcoming the dangerous obstacles in AQW Zombies have made them stronger than ever, but Drakath is far less than discouraged to believe it. Back to the Necro Cavern, the earthquake from earlier resumes. Lilyandra fears that the earthquake will start destroy the shield that protects the original Doomwood Forest.

It flickers several times until it disintegrates, leaving the forest defenseless. Lilyandra vows to protect what is left. She is overwhelmed, but we know now that just even if things look bleak and there is no hope of winning, we have to keep trying because there is only failure if we quit trying. And right on time, you intervened and kept your promise, but you have brought a lot of “hope” with you.

Congratulations you've finished the entire Doomwood Saga!
