World Boss

Once in a while, you may see a World Boss appear in AdventureQuest Worlds! They’re special event bosses with a shared HP bar across all servers and rooms. This means that any damage that you deal to the boss is permanent, whether you stay or leave.

World Bosses are indicated by a large, global HP bar that will be found somewhere in the map, and shows the current remaining health of the boss

While fighting them, you’ll occasionally receive drops that you can trade in for gold, xp, and items that can usually be found nearby.

When World Bosses are defeated, they are gone forever! They do not respawn unless specified. However, sometimes, they may be replaced with a normal defeatable version of the monster so that you can experience them again, and obtain their rewards..
