Skills
Powerful Blows The Auto Attack may seem slow. That’s because it is. It’s also worth the wait, especially once you add all your other skills into the mix. STRIKE WITH THE POWER OF A MIGHTY GLACIER! |
|
Pummel This skill’s damage is about 85% what one of your Powerful Blows would cause, which is pretty good. If you land this move, you have a 60% chance of earning Frozen Heart. Frozen Heart will allow you to SERVE CHILLING PUNISHMENT TO YOUR FOES more effectively at the cost of taking 10% more damage while it is active. You’ll see later on that this drawback is quite easily overcome. |
|
Chilling Blow About 30% the damage of a Powerful Blow, otherwise the skill is exactly as it says in the description. Unless you need that stun right away, you should activate Frozen Heart first. |
|
Frostbite The same level of power as a single Powerful Blow. That’s good, but not worth 22 mana, so use this when Frozen Heart is on! Frostbite will cause the target to take 20% more damage from physical attacks. You’ll shatter foes with your Powerful Blows alone! |
|
Warcry I’d like to say it’s the wintery freshness of your breath that heals your enemies, but when you eat lesser warriors for breakfast chances are your breath isn’t pleasant. With this skill, you have a choice. You can pick up the slack for your team once in a while by using this without Frozen Heart. When Frozen Heart IS present, you heal only one target, who also gets 10 seconds of Healing over Time. Whether you use this on yourself or a friendly player is your choice. |

Heavy Armor Expertise Means anything that isn’t a spell generally doesn’t harm you very much. Even when Frozen Heart is active, you still take 20% less damage from things like Swords or Axes to the face |

Strong Arm |

Skull Crusher |
Glacial Warlord is both a single-target heavy-hitter and decent support, making it ideal for solo play or in a group meant to take down bosses. The biggest drawback is the reliance on Frozen Heart; If you fail to land Pummel or Frozen Heart doesn’t happen when you need it, you may find yourself struggling. The healing is pretty good, but a long cooldown means sometimes you’d rather wait until Skull Crusher happens so that you heal for twice as much.
Recommended Allies!
Classes that can heal are everyone’s friend, of course. In particular Glacial Warlord and Alpha Omega work very well together. Glacial Warlord and Alpha Omega (or Alpha DOOMega, if you have it) Both have strong physical skills, a stun, and methods of healing. If the Glacial Warlord manages to apply Frostbite to the common target, this duo is terrifying to face. Other allies fit for GW are any classes that can buff haste. Bard can buff haste while providing a variety of other support. A TimeKiller can use their Compress Time skill to heal, boost your haste and replenish your mana.
