Arachnomancer

Is there anything scarier than spiders? The short answer is yes, but that was a rhetorical question. For all the rational and irrational fears they've instilled, spiders are interesting creatures. They're hunters, trappers, crafters, and overall useful for getting rid of other more pest-like pests. When a crafty thief or magic-user dedicates their study to harnessing their spidery powers, it's not just for intimidating enemies who have arachnophobia. It's a brilliant idea. When you combine the skill and abilities of a spider with human intellect, creativity, physical prowess, and magical ability, your enemies gain more to fear than just your wicked appearance. This is Arachnomancer.

Type: Physical
Description: A rapid attack studied only by a reclusive few.

You'll recognize this as an Auto Attack similar to a Rogue's, with similar damage. The class also has a similar mana regeneration method to a Rogue, meaning you gain mana from striking enemies and dodging attacks. SIMILAR!


VenomFangs

Cooldown: 3 Seconds
Type: Physical/Magical
Description: The poison of a spider can prove to be lethal, especially if bitten more than once. Bite your target with Venomous Fangs, causing a moderate DoT that can stack up to 6 times.

Woah, you're gonna bite your enemies?! I mean I'm sure not everything you fight is gonna taste good, but that's awesome!

I can already hear a few of you out there who dislike having to stack skills, but trust me; you want to use this move as quickly and as often as possible so you can both increase the stacks and keep them from expiring. GNAW UPON YOUR ENEMY.

Cooldown: 8 Seconds
Type: Magical
Description: Hitting a vital pressure point of your target? Guaranteed to critically strike. Increases toxicity increasing damage you take. Applies Web Miasma if your target is suffering from Venom Fangs.

This is one guaranteed crit of respectable size, and Web Miasma is actually a SECOND Damage over Time that will last 10 seconds. You'll take about 20% more damage for about 6 seconds. You didn't think your body would be used to producing spider venom and webbing, did you?


 Foreboding Arachnid

Cooldown: 32 Seconds
Type: Magical
Description: The apprehensive fear of the spider induces your target into a state of Panic, doubling all active damage-over-time on them for 12 seconds. also has a chance to stun your target for 3 seconds.

Some of you know the feeling. Phobias come in different severities. That heightened heart rate does no favors when you have venom in you.

The DoTs from this class were already pretty good, but now you can double them with no drawback.

And that "all" in the description means ALL. As in, any DoTs your comrades have on the target will ALSO be doubled! The stun is always welcome when it happens.


Toxic Adrenaline

Mana Cost: 27 Mana
Cooldown: 24 Seconds
Type: Magical
Description: A surge of toxic adrenaline courses throughout your body to ensnare and wrap your target in steel-like webs, applying Cocooned to reduce their defenses by 100% for 12 seconds. However, your body begins to burn, causing Poison Overload to reduce your defenses by 50% for 12 seconds.

Spiders can be deadly, but you must remember that they can be quite delicate. This skill is why you want that dodge chance passive. This skill means that any damage from anywhere that happens to your target hurts twice as badly: Auto attacks, your Web Slingshot critical hit, and even Damage-over-Time. That's right. You could be doing Double your standard attack damage and QUADRUPLE your DoTs on top of that. Of course, it comes with the price of vulnerability. Why oh why didn't you study how to produce your own antivenin?!

As you can see, none of these skills hit more than one target, and they cause you to be quite vulnerable. This class is not ideal for farming, Brings high risk in PvP, and is going to be one of your best friends when you’re fighting bosses.

Recommended Allies! 

While all healers are great allies, what an Arachnomancer really needs is someone who can protect them so they aren’t harmed at all. Seek out an ally with one of classes that can steer attention away from you and the others in your party. Defender, Legendary Hero and Blood Titan are able to do this. DragonSlayer and ChronoCommander can also fill the role, though they aren’t as reliable for protection. When you’re thinking of what classes can pair with you for damage, there’s far too many classes to list. Probably all of them. But if you can bring other allies with strong Damage-Over-Time skills along, do it. You have the potential to QUADRUPLE the DoTs from a Deathknight or a friendly Pyromancer or even the ChronoCommander class I mentioned earlier. Say.. That’s not a bad idea.
