Acolyte
Raw power will only accomplish so much, and the hardest battles are fought with more than just swords. Raise your staff as a faithful Acolyte, hero, and protect your fellow adventurers! Though your comrades may fight legendary bosses and nightmarish creatures on the front lines, your enemy will always be death itself. Channel your mana into a natural, life-giving force to keep you and your friends alive— with just a word, bathe your allies in a blessed light and mend even the most grievous wounds, empower their skills by magically reducing their mana costs, and draw upon your own life energy to damage your opponents! Only Legends who have trained as Healers under Juvania may purchase this class. Use the Healer enhancement for a balance of Endurance and Intellect intended to keep you alive as long as possible, Wizard for raw spell power, or Spellbreaker for a middle ground of longevity and power (and some extra Wisdom, which occasionally comes in handy). Luck is an option as well, for powerful critical heals that are almost guaranteed to fully restore everyone’s health. Skills
Auto Attack Damage isn’t exactly Acolyte’s main selling point, but you’re certainly no slouch in battle! Although this auto attack deals 100% weapon damage (compared to some caster classes 90%), your strength is still abysmally low. Don’t worry though, because those powerful healing spells will ensure that you’re the last hero standing! |

Healing Word |

Heart Beat |

Energy Flow Create a magical link between you and your enemy by casting a spell that dwells within them (kinda like an anchor), redirecting some of the mana used attacking them back to you. This is the quickest way for Acolyte to recover mana, and with a full party, it’s incredibly efficient. While Inhibition is active on your enemy, you should receive enough mana to cast Healing Word before it fades. The 30% damage reduction provides another reason to use this skill early and often! |

Clear Mind As if you weren’t enough of a team player, you can now further assist your allies! If you have enough mana left, consider casting this spell on a friendly target immediately after Healing Word (since you’ll already be targeting them). You could cast it on yourself, but you’d end up spending more mana in the long run (Healing Word is usually 30 mana; combined with Clear Mind, both skills would cost 35 mana). The purpose of this skill is to encourage your allies to really let loose with those heavy damage attacks that they couldn’t otherwise afford to launch in succession, and ultimately make the fight a little easier for everyone. |

Pure Hearted |
Resolute |
Acolyte’s primary job is maintaining the health of the party, and Pure Hearted makes that 10% easier. 10% might not sound like that much, but remember that 1 HP can be the difference between life and death. Resolute’s damage resistance works great with Energy Flow’s debuff, and ensures that you’re one of the tougher members of the party to kill.
Overall, this is your standard RPG healing class. In Player vs Enemy combat, you certainly won’t need to worry about dying, but Acolyte’s low damage output will have you spending more time than necessary defeating monsters. It’s a neat option in Doomarena 1v1, and certainly a valid one in Bludrut Brawl. Acolyte shines best with other players, whether it’s farming EXP or taking on a tough boss. If we’re judging by just the numbers, Acolyte is the best healing class in the game.
Recommended Allies!
Acolyte is a support class, so the best ally would be anyone it can support! With that said, there certainly are some classes that stand out above others. Heavy hitting classes that take time to charge up like Mindbreaker, Chrono DragonKnight, and Legendary Hero are all wonderful options, as Acolyte can ensure that they stick around long enough to launch off their high damage skills. Classes that easily run out of mana (BattleMage, DarkBlood Stormking, and Vindicator of They are great examples) would benefit from Clear Mind. Any class that can deal damage fast makes a great ally to Acolyte too, since damage isn’t exactly its forte.
