Eternal Inversionist Class Breakdown
New Throne of Darkness Saga Class Variant!
Each of the Throne of Darkness stories has had a class variant attached to it, and Sekt the Eternal's is no different... EXCEPT that THIS week's class can be bought for gold and rep by ALL players! If you don't have the time or inclination to farm, you can also buy the class for 2000 AdventureCoins!
Eternal Inversionists favor Strength, Endurance, and Dexterity. They gain mana from all hits landed in combat, and especially on crits. The amount depends on damage relative to *their own* HP total.
Swing your weapon through space and time, striking your opponent from any distance.
Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
This is Bard’s auto attack with a flair; every time you land a hit, you have a small chance to trigger a heal over time effect for 6 seconds. It might not be exceptionally large, but it provides a lot of survivability during long, drawn out battles and while farming especially large groups of monsters.
Rip the dimensional fabric and attempt partially invert your opponents, twisting their reality and reducing their outgoing damage for 15 seconds
Cooldown: 15 seconds
To kick off this class, we have the first (of many) debuff skills. This one’s pretty straightforward; as long as the skill connects, all enemies hit will suffer from a 30% outgoing damage debuff. The damage isn't especially spectacular, but repeated uses combined with the other skills will wear down your opponents pretty quick. Since this is a debuff that affects an enemy, every player battling the monster will take less damage making this skill especially helpful when you're fighting strong enemies
Cast ancient bandages at your enemies, causing them to rapidly age. Increases opponent's incoming damage by 6% and applies a moderate DoT (60% weapon damage total). Both auras stack 5 times and last 7 seconds
Cooldown: 6 seconds
This is Eternal Inversionist’s bread and butter skill; you'll want to use this so often that it's constantly cooling down. Ancient Wrap applies three different debuffs that all stack up to 5 times. At 5 stacks, your enemies will suffer from a hefty 30% damage increase, 30% accuracy decrease, and a 300% spell DoT. Keep in mind, however, that it can only hit targets from a medium distance; you'll have to pull distant monsters in closer with your auto attack to hit them with this skill!
Smash the ground and create a 4th dimensional shockwave, trapping your opponent in the ebb and flow of time. Slows multiple enemies for 15 seconds
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Stasis reduces the haste of up to 6 enemies by 30% and deals moderate damage. Since haste determines how fast attack speed is, the enemies will ultimately deal less damage and give you more room to breathe. In PvP, haste reductions also increase the amount of time skills take to cool down, so this skill could prove especially useful in Bludrut Brawl matches to slow down the enemy team.
Summon twisted copies of yourself throughout time to attack multiple enemies for huge damage. and has a 25% chance to stun enemies for 4 seconds.
Cooldown: 20 seconds
To give Inversionist some utility beyond pure support, this skill is a nuke that will never miss and always hit up to 6 enemies critically. On top of that, it also has a 25% chance to stun for 4 seconds! There aren’t any debuffs attached to Caricature, so this should only be used when you want to dish out damage. Since this class recovers mana on critical hits, you can use this when fighting multiple enemies to get some additional mana back if you happen to be running low.
Shifting Sands: increases haste by 15% Dimensional Strength: increases STR and END by 12%
Eternal Resolve: reduces spell damage by 40%
