AQWorlds goes OLD School... Just Kidding!

For our 2015 April Fools' Day prank, we've turned the town of Battleon and its buildings into WAY old-school, 8-bit versions of the regular art. If you are old enough to remember the classic Mario Bros. games (or just live classic console video games), then logging in is going to feel like coming home... to your past!

... But fair warning, your loot is in another castle! This is probably one of my personal favorite April Fools' Day jokes. I grew up on these 8 and 16-bit video games like many of you and the other AE team members. So now's your chance to relive your (quest for) glory days! 

Log in to Battleon, check out our 8-bit Rare Gear shop, then head to Battleontown to take on 8-Bit Lionfang!He's got a stash of reward drops you can farm for as you battle to the 8-beat of Warlic's digital masterpiece!

Once you equip the 8-Bit Jukebox in-game, click it and you'll go to a page where you can download even MORE of Warlic's classic console musical creations.

8-Bit Rare Gear and House Shops

You can look square but still be one of the most powerful pixel-heroes in Lore with the bits and bytes of awesome items in the rares shop!
