How do I confirm my email address (for security and/or chatting purposes?)

Here are instructions how to confirm your email address to chat and to keep your account secure:

1. Go to http://account.aqworlds.com
2. Login to the Account Management Login
3. If your Email Status is Unconfirmed, Click on Resend Email
4. You will see the message:

"Confirmation email has been successfully sent to your email address."

Once you receive the email, follow the instructions in the email and click the link that confirms you are the owner of the account. Once your email address is confirmed, you will see the message:

"Success! Congratulations your email address has been confirmed and your account is now activated. Check the homepage for news about the game. Notice: Email Confirmed Successfully!"

Email Confirmation Information
Please note, confirming your email to your account is another step you can take to help keep your account as secure as possible. If you confirm your email, your email cannot be changed without your explicit authorization. If your email is changed, you have to click a link in the confirmation email you will receive that authorizes the change to occur. If you do not click that link, your email will not be changed and you should change your password immediately.

Everyone can confirm their email, however, only players who are over 13 years of age can chat on the Safiria and Nythera servers. Canned chat is available for our younger players on the Moglin Safe Servers. If you are under 13 years of age and would like to chat, please ask your parents to purchase you an upgrade.

Email Confirmation Issues
Here are the 3 most common issues players have with email confirmation:

1. Email already verified and cannot chat due to incorrect birthdate on account
Please have your parent/guardian email us via our email webform below directly with their own email address stating your correct birthdate. This is the only way your birthdate can be changed if it was given to us incorrectly as we cannot confirm you are over 13 years of age any other way.

2. Email already verified but want to change verified email on account
If you somehow have a different email verified, you will need to prove you are the account owner. Please send us your user name, what the current and signup email is, and if you are upgraded, the transaction ID, buyer name and buyer email of the upgrade(s).

3. Player does not have access to signup email, needs to update signup email and re-verify
If you no longer have access to the original signup email on the account, you will have to prove you are the owner of the account before we can change it. Please visit our "How can I add or change my signup email?" help page.
